It started as a dream and my husband built it with the help of some friend's. A garden full of lamb's ear and other blooming perennials, a pasture full of sheep, draft horses and ponies in the fields. Build it and maybe they will come. A little shop promoted as "Treasures on a country road" in the country on a dead end road. Customers came the few days a week I was opened and were thrilled to be able to visit and share in our life. Many treasures they would find- one of a kind items, wool from the sheep, wood treasures from recycled wood from our other business Walker Tree Care Inc. www.walkertreecare.com Buckets of blooming perennials and annuals, it got bigger and bigger with the Holiday Open House bringing in hundreds of people. Sadly the masses outgrew our home and now all events are held outside in the gardens and barns when we welcome customers to the farm. We try to still have at least one or 2 events at the farm a year. Complete with the possibility of a wagon ride.
A fire in 2007 prompted our move to downown Chittenango and a permanent storefront @ 254 Genesee Street. Where we hope to grow our customer list and friends and hopefully square footage someday!
