Lamb's Ear Gift Shop

Our store started as a dream, that was built by my husband, with the help of some friends. We had a garden full of lamb's ear and other blooming perennials, a pasture full of sheep, draft horses and ponies in the fields. Our motto was build it and maybe they will come. It was a little shop promoted as "Treaures on a country road," in the country, on a dead end road. Customers came the few days a week I was open and were thrilled to visit and share in our life. Many treaures they found - one of a kind items, wool from the sheep, wood treatures from recycled wood from our other business Walker Tree Care Inc. www.walkertreecare.com, and more. Buckets of blooming perennials and annuals, it got bigger and bigger with the Holiday Open House bringing in hundres of people. Sadly the masses outgrew our home, and now all events are held outside in the gardens and barns, when we welcome customers to the farm. We try to have at least one or two events at the farm a year. We have horsedrawn rides from time to time, and offer the rides during the Village of Chittenango Tree Lighting. Jason Hulchanski at Poolsbrook Belgians, http://www.poolsbrookbelgians.com does a great job for us. A fire in 2007 prompted our move to downtown Chittenango and a permanent storefront at 254 Genesee St. We hope to grow our customer list and friends, and hopefully square footage someday!
